We are pleased to offer you lodging in our cozy riverside inn at the foot of the Sugarbush ski slope access road. We are also just a few miles from Mad River Glen ski area. The Golden Lion has modern motel accommodations with the warmth and hospitality of a country inn. We combine New England charm and country hospitality to produce a special quality of service that has become our trademark. Spacious rooms include air conditioning, cable TV, shower/ bath, telephones, and daily housekeeping. You will enjoy our hearty complimentary breakfasts served in our fireside dining lobby. We also offer efficiency units with kitchenettes for families and others who need a little more space, or plan longer stays.

Enjoy our outdoor hot tub throughout the year, and in warmer months, our wonderful outdoor space with its trees, its grassy play areas and its private riverside beach. For summer guests, we also have air-conditioning for those rare days when the weather in Vermont turns hot.
